Ingredients
4 eggs
1/4 cup of milk
tsp real vanilla extract
loaf of day old raisin challah
cinnamon
1/4 stick of butter
Grade A or B maple syrup
Method
- Mix eggs, milk, vanilla extract in a large bowl.
- Melt butter in large sauce pan over a medium flame.
- Slice day old challah into 1/2 inch slices.
- Soak bread in egg mixture.
- Turn up the heat to medium-high, put slices of bread into melted butter, let cook 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle cinnamon on bread, flip bread and cook other side for a few minutes until browned.
